The focus is on confidence building, co-operation and interaction both as an individual and as part of a group. Pupils can explore a full range of theatrical disiplines including improvisation, dramtic conventions, voice projection and breathing exercises. These prepare pupils to work towards producing self-devised pieces of theatre and also more formal scripted work.

In addition pupils have the opportunity to learn technical theatre skills, including stage management, lighting, sound, costume design and make-up.

Optional examinations are available with the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.
