How much are they and where are they held?

The cost is £55 per week, with a price of £50 per week for anyone attending both summer schools. The course is held between 9.30am – 3pm, and we are on the premises from 8.45am for those who work. They are held at our own dance studios, St Albans Road, Tanyfron. The gates are closed during the day and no pupils leave the premises unless accompanied by an adult.

Dance intensive week - 21st – 25th July

This course is for children who are bronze standard and above. The week consists of lessons given by specialist guest teachers from all dance and stage disciplines i.e. Jazz, Tap, Ballroom, Latin, Disco, Street, Ballet, Musical Theatre, Singing and many more. Dancewear is to be worn everyday, bring all relevant dance shoes e.g. ballet, tap, jazz boots/trainers, point shoes (where relevant).

High School Musical Week - 4th August – 8th August

Course 1: A mixture of dance, arts and crafts focusing on a High School Musical theme. For all 5 – 8 year olds. Pupils will learn songs and dances, including a cheer-leading routine, as well as craft and drama activities linked into the film.

What you need to bring each day.

• A packed lunch, (there is a tuck shop open at break times)
• An apron or old shirt for craft sessions
• Sun cream, hat and decent footwear (If the weather is good we try to visit the adventure playground in the village and have a picnic lunch).
• A Plain T-shirt that can be cut up or painted on, any colour.
• Craft items e.g. yoghurt pots, small boxes, plastic bottles, beads, sequins, scraps of fabric, ribbon, etc.
• Ballet/dance shoes.(Leotards are not needed each day for the craft week)
• Please make sure all dancewear, shoes and coats are labelled with your child’s name.

Course 2: A Play in a Week – High School Musical For age 9 + Pupils will learn a shortened version of the film, as well as routines and songs to perform the show at the end of the week.

What you need to bring each day.

• A packed lunch, (there is a tuck shop open at break times)
• Ballet/dance shoes, leotards & leggings
• Please make sure all dancewear, shoes and coats are labelled with your child’s name.
